- Art Basel is serious about their planned global domination of the art fair circuit. In case you haven’t heard, they’ve taken over the Hong Kong International Art Fair. Last year, 266 galleries participated in the Hong Kong International Art Fair. In what appears to be a massive restructuring effort, Art Basel has formed a committee of gallerists to select the participating galleries for the fair’s 2013 iteration. [via @Artnet]
